2009 is off to a great start!

First and foremost, I have to brag on my recently published hubby-to-be. His hard work on a Firefox extension, TwitterEyes, paid off and the associate editor from Webware.com noticed! He wrote a blog about my very own Danny Pier at http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-10145982-2.html.

So exciting! I'd explain more about TwitterEyes myself, but given that I've only recently become acquainted with tech lingo, I'm afraid I might flub it up. I'd rather not risk it.

In other news, Frisbee turned two this week! I can't believe he's been around so long...but at the same time, I can't remember life without him. He came along on a lovely snowshoeing adventure with me Monday...here are a couple of pics from the trip:





As for me, second quarter of grad school has proved less than invigorating, so I picked up another nannying job on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's for two infant kiddos, ages 2 months and 4 months...neighbor kids (not twins with some weird age gap or anything). I start Tuesday. It's a bit of a drive but well worth the pay. In addition to the other family I babysit for and the two families I tutor for, I'm practically working a full time job! Which is good...because I'm not so good at being bored.

Wedding plans are still coming along quite nicely. I ordered Save-the-Dates this week so you can expect those in the mail here in the near future. Other than that, nothing too exciting to report.
